Help Youth Unity CIC to buy a van to turn into a 'Mobile Youth Intervention Centre'! The aim of our project is to collaborate with statutory organisations in the delivery a one-stop mobile intervention centre. The van will enable us to travel throughout Havering and pop up in different areas as an accessible central point for the delivery of workshops/focus groups and other activities. How we'll use our van: The Detached work: young people are sought in the locations on the street where they usually spend their time. Travelling around to these locations aims to create contact, council, and provide assistance. Working with groups: a variety of groups that are accessible through schools, through single young people and “cliques”. The ‘mobile youth intervention centre’ will be used be utilised to transport the event equipment for the pop-up workshops, the filming equipment, along with the general day to day running of the business.
What we'll deliver:

Utilising techniques that ensure active engagement regardless of educational attainment Recognising steps achieved to improve confidence and motivation. The production of a podcast, recordings to provide a voice of young people and professionals.
Steps to get it done:
Youth Unity CIC Project sustainability and improvement plan is paramount, and our staff have a track record of delivering projects and programmes that continue to have an impact beyond the funding period. This sustainability has been achieved in several different ways, with staff training and partnership working key to the legacy of each project. Having discussed in depth with Statutory and third sector Organisations this proposal will meet the current gap in outreach services, address significant social issues and generate investment in a much needed area and aid the development of our CIC. The training and workshop legacy and the Safeguarding of people locally will live long after the project has ceased with the knowledge being utilised on the ground post-delivery.
