There is very little support for our to turn to once they leave school. Mo Better Society are offering the local youths an avenue to get away from the dramas of the street by offering them a chance to learn skill that could enhance their life. By training them to become self-employed Barbers they have the opportunity to become self reliant and independent. We also intend to address the serious issue of knife crime, bullying and peer pressure. Mo Better Cutz has a close relationship the Ladbroke Grove community and we feel that it is our responsibility to tackle the issue before it escalates into something more serious. By opening the doors to rival groups and getting them to address their differences, and put them aside, we create the opportunity to prevent the needless deaths of our young men and women

What we'll deliver:

  • Hoste barbering events that promotes the Barbering School.
  • Run barbering work shops on once a week
  • Remodel the back room to host a mediation room/class room

Why it's a great idea:

Young people will have a chance to create their own business

Steps to get it done:

  • Train 16 to 24 year old in the art of Barbering
  • Give 16 to 24 year olds a chance to learn skills that could benefit them
