Metro Judo Community Festival looks to inspire local people to take up Judo. The club would like to hold a community Judo Festival in July 2016 for Greenwich residents.

The Festival will have local Judo clubs come together to compete and show residents what a great sport Judo is. To do this we need funding to assist us with things like venue hire, officials, medals and trophies. Any child or adult that would like to try the sport, we offer them a free taster session and a discounted membership into the club. We want as many people as possible to take part in Judo and look to break down any barriers that will stop people taking part. We want to engage people from a variety of backgrounds and get at least 50 more people taking part in Judo on a weekly basis.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The Club has shown we can help local athletes to achieve their dreams; athletes that have progressed through the club have went onto win medals at the Common Wealth and Olympic games. We want to show the community that Judo will help them to become more physically active and help to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Steps to get it done:
