We are renovating and refurbishing the Inner Space Shop - an Information Centre for the Brahma Kumaris. We are updating the old décor with the aim to provide user friendly facilities for customers, visitors, staff & students.

What we'll deliver:

• Easier access for people with disabilities
• Providing Lift to the first floor where additional activities take place
• Direct door opening into the shop. The current door is through the corridor.
• New Shop Front
• New Shop layout that is user friendly

Why it's a great idea:

This shop is a unique place in Wembley where people can come and pick up self help tools. Whilst the products are items the shop sells, the activities that are run by the Charity on the first floor are all free of charge.

Upgrading the shop, means we can now provide information about all the activities on the shop floor itself as the shop will be the Information Centre.

The shop aims to serve not only the local people, but the vision is to make the shop so beautiful that it attracts people who visit Wembley Stadium and the Arena. For example, to display slogans that convey positive messages during football matches.

Steps to get it done:

• And we would really appreciate a grant from the Mayor of London as the costs are substantial.
• Donations from people who have taken benefit from the activities of the charity.

For your information, we are also renovating the first floor where the charity runs courses, seminars, workshops on self development. All of these as previously mentioned are free of charge.

We are creating an extra room space for personal development courses and events. A new Quiet room where everyone is welcome to take a break from their hectic schedule and stressful lives. A better equipped place to hold events encouraging peace, harmony and unity among faith leaders. Our aim would be to hold similar events in partnership with different organizations, other local groups, local government, police, etc.
