Our cricket club relies on cricket being played in the summer to survive. We need your help during COVID-19 crisis to ensure we can continue to serve our community once everything reopens.

With the COVID-19 situation currently putting a halt to all cricket until at the earliest July 2020, we are in a situation where we have no income, but constant bills needing to be paid. Unlike almost all other clubs, we do not have a bar, so our income is primarily based on events that we do and our membership income. One season of no cricket can cause us to be far behind on our bills, and may even threaten us ceasing to exist. The ECB will donate £100 to our cause if we hit at least £100 towards our target. Our bills are approximately £100 a month, excluding the extra amounts we have to pay for damage to our club (as we are in a local park, people often cause damage) We have over 100 local children who come and take part in training sessions/competitive cricket throughout the summer with us, therefore it is vital we continue to run as normal, especially when the lock down ends, as children will be eager to get out and enjoy some well deserved sunshine with their friends.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
As the season is postponed and could well be cancelled completely. We need as much help as possible, especially since all our fundraisers and membership income is now non-existent, but we still have bills to pay. We love our cricket club, and want to ensure we survive the crisis, and are ready to open our doors to all of our members and local community when life returns to normal. With your help, we will be open again as soon as possible once it is safe to do so.
