Little Squirrels Nursery provides free places for disadvantaged two year old children and 15 hours a week free for 3 and 4 year olds . Our setting offers children experiences they may not normally have. We offer music lessons and visits from the farm for instance with no added cost to parents. We wish to begin a Forest School, an outdoor learning experience for two, three and four year olds. These sessions will be offered to children free of charge inclusive of fees and funding with no hidden extras to pay. Children will be able to participate in outdoor learning sessions following the changes in the seasons within the environment around them. Children will have a safe environment in which to explore and materials to explore with. Den building, fires, wildlife observations are to name but a few of the activities. In order to start this up we need funding to train staff and purchase equipment. We can achieve this with £10,000 Please help us get this project up and running! Thank you.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Children who face everyday challenges or have difficulty within the nursery environment in social situations often shine when given learning opportunities in a different environment. These children come to life outdoors. Help us help them!
