Commissioned by LPG and RIBA London, the folly forms part of London Festival of Architecture's 'Playful City' events and the London Pleasure Gardens. As part of the pleasure gardens experience, the folly (one of six commissioned) will form a small part of a £1.2 Billion regeneration project for Newham Council.

The folly is a place to sit, a place to shelter from the wind and rain, a meeting place, something to climb on and object of play.

What we'll deliver:

  • Form a team of volunteers to construct the folly
  • Over a week we will construct the folly off-site from polystyrene and water based resin
  • Deliver the folly on the back of a truck to site and drop into place

Why it's a great idea:

As part of the regeneration of one of London's poorest neighbourhood's the folly will form a small, but integral part of the larger London Pleasure Gardens project that will help revitalise a forgotten part of London.

Steps to get it done:

  • Through the help of dedicated volunteers
