We (local residents) want to raise funds to plant four flower beds in Loxford Park - the park used to have them and we want to bring them back.
This project is preparing for fundraising. Click Like to show your support, or Follow for updates on this project's journey.
The flower beds would add beauty to the park, improve air quality, biodiversity and add nature and greenery. We will respond to ideas from the local community about what kind of planting they would like. The project could introduce gardening to people who don't have access to a garden or who would like to be part of a new community of gardeners. Please support us to restore our local park! We'd like to get planting in Spring 2017.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Planing flower beds would add beauty to the park, improve air quality, biodiversity and add nature and greenery. Residents and visitors to the park will all benefit! The project will allow the community together with the Council to enhance the park and let local residents feel more involved. Loxford Park sits within Loxford Ward which is the most deprived ward in Redbridge.
