We aim to creative an artistic hub that will be a Liverpool fringe theatre venue and will also host a variety of different productions. The venue will also become the home to many community projects.

Due to many devastating cuts to the arts, Liverpool for one is really lacking in artistic venues and space to rehearse and perform projects. The Arts Hub will become a place for artists to explore their ideas and projects in a positive environment. We really want to create a safe space for members of the community to engage in projects that will tackle the issues that we as a community face in our lives, creating poignant political theatre. Working as an artist in Liverpool is becoming increasingly difficult; the prices for rehearsal spaces, performance venues, production costs etc are rising and we want the Arts Hub to become a space that will not break the bank, for performers to preview their work in many ways from 4 day production runs to open mic experimenting. We want to bring together artistic, creative, like-minded people to see what can be achieved by putting heads together and bouncing from each other.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This is a great idea because arts can not die! It will inspire and encourage people to express themselves artistically and will allow vulnerable people to have their voices heard through theatre. It will allow children to use their imagination and give them reasons to be proud of themselves. It will encourage more culture in Liverpool, a place that is worryingly lacking and will give people the chance to actually fulfill their dreams without worrying about the huge prices they would face in any big theatre,
Steps to get it done:
Here at Liverpool Arts Hub, we will push to make this a reality, whether it takes 6 months or 10 years. It is hugely important that we keep the arts alive and we will not give up!
