We will install a large floating duck house into the village pond in Lindfield.
Ducks have previously only been able to nest on two small brick islands, this will provide them with additional space to rest in the pond and protect them from predators.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Pond attracts lots of ducks and other wildfowl throughout the year, this will create a secure house for them to rest and nest in on this historic village asset. Ducks and Waterfowl love to eat algae and are excellent for cutting down on algae that overruns ponds.
