The project aims to support local theatre groups with promotional, enabling the community to come together and the theatre groups to compete on a level with more equality, small or amateur often lack the resources/or knowledge to be able to promote effectively, The project aims to provide small grants of up to 4% of a shows budget to help with budgeting costs and provide marketing information to help theatre groups make the most of the services available in advertising and marketing generally and be found by more people. Our aim is by doing this more people in the local community can come together to support or Theatre industry and we can help theatre groups learn the basics and learn the skills to develop their theatre group's marketing needs. We also aim to connect the theatre groups with companies within their local area.

VolunteerLevelling Centre Stage Limited, was created by Melissa Compton, to help local small theatre groups/productions with marketing their shows, While reviewing theatre in Cardiff, I had too many conversations with their groups about how hard it is for smaller groups to get their show noticed, or the lack of attention, I also made it a point to go meet show productions arrive early in case anyone wanted to talk to me, but saw too often that didn't always happen. I believe strongly that smaller shows deserve the chance to promotion their shows effectively and on a larger scale and that finance or lack of knowledge show not be a barrier to this.
