We're developing an app that encourages exercise for personal health (decrease obesity and improve fitness) and increases natural serotonin output (health and wellbeing). And in return for exercise, you'll earn money. With the money you earn, you can buy vouchers for local and high street, grocery or luxury. For anyone of any financial status, assisting those in poverty or supplementing those who are financially stable. Using this app increases community engagement. More interaction with others in the community, more interaction with our local wildlife and scenery. The more you engage, the higher your serotonin levels, the happier you could be. A three-in-one combo to Level Up Leicester! All funding will go straight into developing this app, beta testing and 'level up' box creations, that app users will scan to add currency. Funding outside the amount asked for will be used to add even more features to the app, such as Augmented Reality (AR) features, events or avatar creation!

Why it's a great idea:

There's a strong causal link between Poverty, Health and Well-being and Financial Stability. It's likely that lacking in one area can cause detriment to others. What this app can do for our people: - Tackle poverty through fitness to currency scheme and possibly boost the local economy. - Decrease depression and anxiety through community engagement and interaction with wildlife. - Increase Fitness and Motivation, decreasing obesity and lowering risks to health. - Increase foot traffic to locations / scenery in Leicester, supplementing cultural, heritage and arts locations in the city. - Helps the environment through increase of alternative methods of transport. - Get our community working together, interacting with each other, meet new people and make new friends on your own terms.
