Thousands of people need to show some hot Latin lovin’ (no matter where you’re from!) and pledge to revive the biggest, free, Latin American event in Europe, Carnaval del Pueblo, Burgess Park.

ONLY if people get behind this extraordinary festival, a powerful provider of happiness, will it be brought back to life in Burgess Park, unleashing and revealing everyone’s ‘espirito Latino’.

What we'll deliver:

  • Together, we could spread a little love and bring back a crazy, wacky, happy carnival day, Sunday August 3rd!

Why it's a great idea:

This event will make you and thousands of others happy, a whole day to let loose, party hard, dance like nobodies watching (when everyone is…) bathe in the glory that is Latin American culture. Good job.

Steps to get it done:

  • The Arts Council; the GLA; National Lottery; Lendlease; local businesses; the media; the people.

Simon Hughes MP, champion of the Latinos, the extraordinarily talented Colombian, Fernando Montuno of the Royal Ballet and many more big names will pledge.
