This project gives people a voice. A voice that will be loud, passionate and, above all, a voice that will be heard, and can be heard locally and globally. It will bring greater understanding and knowledge. With this voice communities can share values, traditions and culture.
Specifically, it will teach them how to produce and deliver professional, entertaining and intelligent downloadable podcasts; empowering them to build bridges where they need building and replace prejudice and fear with understanding and mutual respect.

Why it's a great idea:
Many of the diaspora communities in London have a rich and complex oral tradition of story telling. Through these stories other cultures can understand and feel the emotional resonance that makes the heart of a community beat. Tragically, in a more modern society, these stories can no longer be heard so clearly. We can teach them, simply and effectively, to relay these stories in a digital format, that will be accessible for generations to come, and that will reinforce the bonds that makes our society stronger.
