We believe that a zero carbon borough can be cleaner, greener, healthier, fairer, stronger.. Imagine2030 is a platform for LBHF people to 1) get INFORMED about all aspects of the climate and ecological emergency (science, politics, food, energy, transport etc); 2) get INSPIRED by the innovative low carbon projects happening around the world; and 3) get INVOLVED by contributing their own low carbon ideas and supporting local projects. We want to build community knowledge and commitment to the 2030 goal (set by the council in 2019) of a zero carbon borough.. Our first project is inviting all the young people of the borough to turn their ideas, hopes and dreams for Hammersmith & Fulham in 2030. We're collaborating with the LBHF Youth Council and the William Morris Society. We want to display the young people's artwork in various public spaces over the summer. Future projects include a competition for the borough's greenest street and estate. We are gathering supporters via our website.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Popular support for the kind of radical changes that we, as a community, and LBHF, as a council, need to implement in order to achieve its goal of being zero carbon by 2030. New community projects and stronger community connections.
