A group, that will provide space for people to run, creative activities and events, within a venue, for a small fee, allowing them to keep all the proceeds from any fees charged. The activities, will be open to all ages, including families.

What we'll deliver:

• Hire a Venue through funding.
• Provide kitchen facilities for a cafe
• Provide space for a creche
• Provide a gallery to display locally produced crafts
• Provide a shop, to sell locally produced crafts and goods
• Accept donated goods, to help raise any extra funds needed
• Provide roles, for pupils, students, the unemployed and volunteers

Why it's a great idea:

There are many projects, specially creative ones, that can not get off the ground or are struggling to cover costs and to be able to offer low cost space, with in joint venue, as a partnership, will allow, many projects, to strive and provide activities, on a regular daily bases, as well as providing work experience and Placements, pupils, students and the unemployed, as well as offering volunteer roles to local people.

Steps to get it done:

I have already received £500 from the Rank Foundation, towards the running costs of a costume festival, called Character-Fest and so I'm eager to gain funding to hire a venue, for HACs, which Character-Fest will be an annual event, from the start.
