We aim to inspire the community to think beyond their circumstances and explore the scientific backed theory that "We are what we think" We will do this by providing activities, hand outs and performances that promote our ethos of: HAPPINESS ,UNITY ,GRATITUDE ,SERENITY In the hope of motivating people to find their own resilience tools to cope with the circumstances they face on a daily basis. "In less than ten years depression will be the leading cause of death" Although depressing is nicknamed the silent killer Hugs aim to break that cycle by raising awareness and bringing communities together to find effective ways those communities can connect as one to raise positive vibrations to uplift them from negative self belief patterns. Hugs offer a perfect opportunity for you and your community to sleep under the stars. We will set up an inter connecting bell tent village that by day create a mental health and wellbeing zone and by night celebrates community resilience.

What we'll deliver:

  • Inter connecting pop up bell tent village where communities can come together to unite as one.
  • Communal games and activities that actively enhance community spirit
  • 'Choosing Happiness' Press station
  • Holistic Wellbeing experience in our Massage/Meditation Tipi

Why it's a great idea:

These pop up villages will activity encourage the positive values we promote as we feel they will contribute to a happier, more positive and connected society, with Creativity and Well-being at the heart of community engagement. When I was a wee girl (yes many moons ago) my dear old Nanny Thompson, who was a strong working class woman and raised 11 children during WW2, used to say, "You count your blessings my girl, there's always someone worse off than you" we need to unite and tap into and redirect our moral compass and resurrect the true ideology behind the words community spirit.

Steps to get it done:

  • Designing the set up of the personalised bell tent village
