we hope we can reach are goal and offer a over night stay for homeless around south Yorkshire. The funding we are looking for is solely for setting up the property as it will all be only volunteer run and a non profitable establishment

What we'll deliver:

• decorate the property
• furnish the property
• pay bills i.e gas, heating, electricity
• start up costs i.e food, bedding, for service uses

Why it's a great idea:

there is too many homeless people on the street and little services to help them as there is too much red tape. i.e we was called out as volunteers to a homeless lady that had been homeless 4 months the lady is in there 60s and is disabled we drove her to the nearest hostel and then was told she could not stop there due to the cold weather protocol was not available as it was only going to be 2 degrees and not in the minus's, there for leaving this lady out on the street leaving us to find her a bed and breakfast, if we had the project up and running we could have offered the lady a bed, food, change of clothes and a shower.
