restarting a project that I was passionate about pre covid. I passed out books to the homeless residents of Fulham and then, once a month, I found somewhere for us to gather for tea and a chat.

- community enrichment - supporting the homeless residents in Fulham - offering a safe and respectful event/meeting for everyone - educating the fulham community about the need to offer something as simple as a smile on greeting to those who are barely acknowledged on the streets. - offering a small distraction and thought through the world of words - attempting to humanise and respect the homeless residents of Fulham
What we'll deliver:
- 5-10 books being circulated within the homeless community
- Support to run a gathering once a month for the homeless community
- Food, drink and any donations of clothes etc to offer to those attending the tea/event
Why it's a great idea:
The project will allow the whole fulham community to challenge their thoughts about the homeless community and offer a monthly occasion that will allow everyone to share their thoughts, experiences and stories without prejudice or judgement over a cup of tea.
Steps to get it done:
- Arrange a venue for the first book club to be held next month
