Warm appeal - to be able to provide vulnerable families with warm items this winter. Including onesies, socks, blankets, torches and batteries. These items will help them see through a cold winter.

We are reaching out for donations to be able to provide vulnerable families in Shepway with warm items of clothing, torches and batteries for the upcoming winter months. Items we will purchase will include: warm pyjamas, jumpers, tracksuits, fluffy socks, slippers, blankets, onesies, sleeping bags, duvets, pillows, hats, gloves, scarves, torches and batteries. Building Bright Futures - We support families with at least one child under the age of 8 living in the Shepway area. Families vary with complex needs from lone parents, having a new baby, a child with learning difficulties, adoption and more. Enhance Domestic Abuse Project - We also support women who have or are experiencing Domestic violence, who may have fled to the Shepway area with at least one child under 8 years.

Why it's a great idea:
There are many benefits to providing warm clothing to our local families. This will help build a relationship with families who may be struggling this winter, enable them to spend the little money they have on other items they may need. We will try to support the local business with our purchases as much as possible.
