A problem I encounter everyday is because of contactless payments I don't seem to carry physical money anymore meaning when I meet and speak with Big Issue sellers I can never buy their magazine / donate. With developments in NFC technology and increasing online banking focus I see a missed opportunity to combine these two technologies. Through a licensed Big Issue app (or charity app) I should be able to pay a Big Issue seller direct into their very own bank account.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The number of homeless people on the streets of Central London are steadily increasing. It is a social issue that we all should address. We should also be using latest tech developments to support those who are in need and would benefit more. Tech for all, not just the lucky.
Steps to get it done:
This tech is already being trialled in som contries, why not England? https://www.nfcworld.com/2017/01/04/349232/homeless-people-trial-contactless-payments-jacket-charity-donations/
