Swindon CC is a volunteer led club that relies on bar and fundraising to function. We need you help during the COVID crisis to ensure we continue to serve our community once everything reopens!
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Swindon Cricket Club has had to close our bar and postpone/cancel all fundraising events. Our membership subs have also been impacted. These revenue streams are critical to the functioning of the club. Any support members and the general public can provide during this time would be a great help and would ensure that we can pay our bills and reopen as soon as this crisis is over. Playing and enjoying cricket and ensuring there is a place for the whole community to come together will be more important than ever once this is all over!

Why it's a great idea:
As the cricket season has yet to get under way, we have no income but still have to pay bills that all add up. We have managed to raise some money through grants from SBC and Sport England for which we are very grateful for and to help carry on but every penny counts. We love our Cricket Club and want to ensure it survives this crisis. With your help we will be open again as soon as possible once it is safe to do so.

VolunteerSwindon Cricket Club is one of the oldest clubs in the UK with a history reaching back 175 years.
The club currently operates four senior sides which compete in the West of England Premier League (WEPL) Wiltshire Division and the Wiltshire County Cricket League Divisions 1, 3 and 8.
The club is very proud of its thriving youth section catering for all ages from 5 years upwards, for boys and girls. The youth sides compete in the Wiltshire Youth Cricket League and are looked after by a team of ECB coaches.
Project Owner: Swindon Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
