We are a training and education centre in the heart of Doncaster, now looking to finalise the set up to help women to gain crucial skills to become independent. We work with most disadvantaged groups to include women out of care, probation, asylum seekers or simply those women looking for flexible working options out of the school system. Individuals from the care tend to have a higher risk of homelessness, poverty, teenage pregnancy and unemployment - Education needs to be at the heart of the solution. We are looking to the folk of Doncaster to support us providing education, counseling and qualification to 20 young women who haven't had the best start in life but looking for an opportunity to become self employed within Nails or Beauty. Our courses provide an accredited qualification in either Nails or Beauty, along with support in setting up a business and experience in our salon. We need to support them with a starter kit, accreditation costs and tutoring

What we'll deliver:

  • 20 places for disadvantaged young women

Why it's a great idea:

Donny folk please help our own! regardless of funding reductions, we are known of a great town that supports its own people! With little vocational opportunity for young women available, we provide an avenue that will provide crucial career opportunities that can last a lifetime.

Steps to get it done:

  • £2000 will create a starter product pack & tunic for all students
  • £8101.35 will pay for 10 girls to gain bespoke tutoring
  • £1000 will help us pay for our accreditation
  • £8101.35 will pay for another 10 women
  • £1000 will help us provide lunch each day

To start in any career you need help, the nail industry is hugely popular and a flexible employment option for women. We provide our learners with a starter pack to include files, buffers, cuticle sticks, tips, clippers, brushes, acrylic powder, nail art and a branded tunic to start their professional journey.
