The COVID-19 lockdown has had a big impact on Ashbourne Cricket Club. We have suffered a huge loss of income due to reduced sponsorship, reduced food sales and no match-day subs. Despite this, we still have bills to pay including insurance and over £1000 a year on pitch maintenance. To be able to continue to provide cricket for the local community we need your help to meet some of these costs. Money that you donate will be matched by the England & Wales Cricket Board so please give generously! We hope to see cricket back on The Recreation Ground soon.

Why it's a great idea:
The lockdown has had a huge impact on people's physical and mental well-being. Cricket is a great form of exercise for people of all ages and we want to be able to offer this again as soon as restrictions are lifted. We have a thriving junior membership and no doubt they will all be itching to play some cricket. With your help we can restore some normality back to life. The idyllic summer scenes of cricket on The Rec and spectators enjoying the sunshine hopefully are not too far away.

VolunteerAshbourne Cricket Club is a small club in Derbyshire run by volunteers. We have two senior teams that play in the Derbyshire County Cricket League. We also provide coaching and league cricket for juniors aged 5 upwards.
Project Owner: Ashbourne Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
