This is a community that needs new life putting into it and this is the right project to do it. This project involves the whole community from children, young people and adults. The youth club building will be a multi use building which we can use for the following: Youth club for the children and young people, baby crèche for mothers to meet and Socialise, Birthday Parties, counselling/Therapy, massage, Reflexology, individual and group work for Domestic Violence. Their is going to be two football teams with players fro the local area and the community club is going be set up to help support young people with behavioural problems through football working has an individual and team player. This project will bring the community together and will let people know that there is always somewhere to go when they are feeling down and need some kind of support to help them feel in a better frame of mind. This is something that will go on from generation to generation.

• Oppertunity for children and young people to enjoy life
• If it can be done it will be done
• Place to go where you can be safe and happy

Why it's a great idea:

This is a great idea because there is nothing like it around the area and the community need something to look forward to when for their children and young people to go, knowing they are in safe hands and at the same time learning social skills. The adults will have a place were they can go and meet friends with their children all year round and there will be social days and nights for the adults. The inspiration came from the opportunity to make this happen. I have worked with children young people and adults who have not had the best start to their life and when a opportunity comes along to help this community have something that will be very beneficial for a long long time to come is well worth trying to achieve. I feel if this project gets of the ground it could well be the first of many around the country. This is an opportunity to help children, Young people and Adults feel in a better frame of mind, knowing people care and we can all help each other in different ways.

Steps to get it done:

We need the football ground turned from grass pitch to astro turf pitch. This will help in getting us regular funding every year to keep the youth club and fertilities going. We have asked professional club would they hire the pitch of us and they said yes if the astro pitch was there. We could do with changing rooms and education room to go with it. We have secured the building which is a great start but the building needs a lot of work on it and we need the right people to do the job because of building regulations and the health and safety of the use of the building. It is important that things are done to the highest standard so people can come and see this is the place where your family can come and do not have to worry about things going wrong because locks on doors are in good condition, toilets, lights and everything in the club shows we are here to look after you and to pass this on to future generations. That's the impression we want to send out to the community.
