Improve the public space in King's Cross: See King's Cross Environment
http://kingscrossenvironment.com/2012/06/19/tfl-2012-kings-cross-road-safety-study-update/
TfL has committed to investigating the potential redevelopment of the road layout around Kings Cross to improve safety especially for pedestrians and cyclists, increase pedestrian permeability, enhance the urban realm, and reduce the traffic dominated ambience of the area. This includes the possible conversion of the one-way system to enable part, or full, two-way traffic operation. This would be best done in collaboration with the users.

What we'll deliver:

  • remove the traffic gyratory, and improve the streetscape, shop fronts, residential and office amenity and green...

Why it's a great idea:

to make the streets in the area enjoyable spaces to use for people who live work and play in King's Cross

Steps to get it done:

  • form a group to work with local highway authorities

Location Camden
