• Microgreens are young, edible plants with concentrated nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making them an excellent addition to any diet. • Learn the step-by-step process for growing microgreens from seed to harvest, including selecting seeds, materials, watering, lighting, and harvesting techniques. • Hands-on learning experience explores microgreens' health benefits, including immunity boost and digestion support, enhancing overall vitality and immunity. • This workshop is for everyone, regardless of gardening experience. It offers practical tips and strategies for growing microgreens indoors or outdoors, allowing you to enjoy fresh greens year-round. • Workshop participants receive a microgreen starter kit, seeds, trays, and soil, allowing them to continue their journey beyond the workshop. Mission: Promote self-sufficiency, environmental consciousness, and healthier lifestyles by teaching individuals to grow sustainable foods one tiny plant at a time.

What we'll deliver:

  • Knowledge: Teach people about microgreens' nutritional value, cultivation ease, and sustainable food production.
  • Environmental: My workshop can show the importance of sustainable farming and its positive impact on the environment.
  • Health & Wellness: This can lead to a healthier community and potentially reduce healthcare costs in the long run.
  • Community Engagement: Engage in gardening projects, share experiences, and collaborate to build a resilient community.
  • Inspiration and Motivation: Exploring gardening and healthy eating can ignite a passion in daily life.

Why it's a great idea:

• Improved Nutrition: Microgreens are packed with essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. • Sustainable Food Production: Microgreens require minimal space, time, and resources to grow. • Accessibility: Microgreens can be grown in various settings, including apartments, homes, or even community gardens. • Cost Savings: Growing microgreens at home can significantly reduce grocery expenses. • Environmental Consciousness: Local microgreen cultivation reduces transportation costs and carbon footprint. • Educational Experience: The workshop offers hands-on gardening skills and knowledge for participants. • Community Building: Microgreen workshop promotes community building and connection. • Health: Microgreens provide immune support, improved digestion, and potential disease prevention. The impact of a microgreen workshop goes beyond just the workshop itself. It has the potential to create a ripple effect, inspiring others to grow and share knowledge.

Steps to get it done:

  • Buy growing trays, growing medium, seeds and containers
  • Book various community centres to host my workshops
  • Social media marketing to promote the workshops
  • Place printed posters in local businesses advertising the workshops
