We aim to create a network of urban farms that grow, harvest and distribute fresh produce to those that need it. In any civilised society, no citizen should be allowed to starve due to the apathy of capitalism. Our network of grass roots operations will be managed by locals as an open resource for the wider public. These farms will not only grow food locally for themselves, but also provide schools and food banks in the area with fresh produce also. Using a non monetary credit based system, we will provide a service that promotes participation and proactivity. Participants will reap the rewards of their efforts and see how their participation has benefited the project in real time. Using food and recyclable waste, the company will teach local communities how to start urban farming with the resources currently at their disposal.

What we'll deliver:

  • Open public urban farms across the UK
  • Distributing food to local schools, food banks and key workers.
  • New recycling method for majority of household plastic and food waste
  • Participants can see the benefit of their contribution in real time
  • Will help feed the poorest in our society
  • Growing fresh food on industrial scale in deprived cities and towns.
  • Non monetary credit system to purchase food. Reap what you help to sow.

Why it's a great idea:

Combating food poverty. Combating climate change. Combating food waste and recycling. Employing young and disadvantaged people. Creating local employment opportunities. Build new local community networks

Steps to get it done:

Right now, we simply need funding to cover start up costs. We need to show the government and larger funding organisations that there is an overwhelming need and desire for this project.
