We successfully ran a fun palace in the Glass Mill Centre in Lewisham in October 2017 which celebrated artwork created by local disabled people. We would like to run a similar event in another part of the borough where there is need for creative arts work to support wellbeing
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
There is considerable evidence for the beneficial impact of arts therapies in the support of wellbeing and self esteem as well as helping people to give structure to their days. The festival is also an opportunity to celebrate the talent that exists locally and consolidate existing relationships in an area of deprivation but also strong community solidarity.
