We are still seeking funding from other resources we are NOT GIVING UP :) so many kids/families would benefit from this park, the green itself is totally enclosed and a lovely safe area...
if we give up and don't fight to get this park its likely the council or someone will want to put block of flats up..

What we'll deliver:

• park equipment eg.. swings/slide ect and ground surfacing, maybe a bench or two

Why it's a great idea:

Experts say spending time outdoors is good for us all, so why are we ignoring the green spaces available to us? experts agree being outside creates happier and healthier individuals... :)

Its a safe, enclosed empty green area, a park would benefit the local community greatly.. it would be a safe haven for children to play without being near main roads, and other dangers..

This park would be a special place where all the community could enter free of charge and mix freely together.. We believe a park plays an important role in the development of children's social skills, builds character/confidence and helps children make friends

PARKS provide clean fresh air to those who were living in increasingly built-up environments.

By creating a new park here on our green it will inspire everyone.. it stand the test of time and be equally loved by future generations... if we was given the opportunity to have this park put in...
