We need to create a youth zone where youngsters can attend, feel safe, get education and training in various forms through trusted adults and highly qualified staff. Funding will cover venue rental and set up, including equipment and furniture, insurances/licences. We intend to offer: *lessons/courses in a classroom environment with laptops *help with further education and job applications *health and wellbeing *various team sports including football, basketball, netball *mixed martial arts *dance studio *gym/weights *music studio *cookery classes *gaming *chill out area The building will need kitchen and bathroom facilities including disabled access

Why it's a great idea:
There are currently high volumes knife crime and gang related issues in the city. There is also a lack of quality education and areas for youngsters to take part in organised and structured sport, health and wellbeing activities. This is why we are trying to open a new youth centre to help tackle all the related issues within the city.
