We are trying to help by keeping our services open and helping our community have access to crucial food supplies, mental health and counselling services, however a number of members of the community are intimidated by a growing number of non service users and this in turn is stopping people from wanting to access the services having a detrimental impact on their health both physically and mentally.
What we'll deliver:
- Gates to protect the community
- Allow our service users to have security
Why it's a great idea:
Our project will secure our building and stop non service users from using it as a place to loiter and allow our service users to come and be free from intimidation and allow them to have access to physical and mental health services
Steps to get it done:
- Once funded we aim to have the gates in place within a month

As a not for profit organisation, Our House – Walton Community Hub CIC has been working since August 2019 very diligently in the Walton community and other communities in order to help change the lives of those who are the most affected by poverty in Liverpool. Poverty by definition is not being able to satisfy one’s basic need on a daily basis. Poverty has been and unfortunately continues to be a serious issue that can’t be ignored by any of us regardless of our socio-economic status, our political view, or our religious beliefs. Every single one of us knows at least someone who is living in absolute poverty.
