We sing a mixture of songs including old traditional songs right through to blues, pop and classical repertoire, some of which are our own translations. We sing in the Irish language but we are open to all people and we provide phonetic lyrics for those who are not comfortable reading Irish script. We do not have auditions and we are open to all backgrounds and abilities.

Why it's a great idea:

Singing is great for wellbeing and mental health but it is also a powerful way to build and grow a community. Our choir is made of a diversity of people with a love for the Irish language and singing and we make it as accessible and welcoming as possible.

Steps to get it done:

• We will establish a second branch of the choir in Camden
• We will grow our membership to 100 singers.
• We will add ten varied songs to our repertoire
• We will develop a new choir leader to continue our growth and potential
