Forty Hall Farm is a 140 acre organic farm in Enfield, north London. We're raising money to create an exciting new outdoor kitchen where food will travel from farm to fork without ever leaving the field.
Our Farm is part of Capel Manor College, London’s only college dedicated to environmental courses. We want our Farm to make locally produced organic food accessible to all. The Farm is already home to London’s first community vineyard and we are busy creating a new orchard too. The Forty Field Kitchen will bring people together to share and celebrate the cooking and eating of food.
The Kitchen will be in a field overlooking our vineyard and will be situated within a new forest garden. It will allow us to hold lots more food-related activities and events on the Farm. The Forty Field Kitchen will be an educational resource, a social shared space and a valuable community asset.

Why it's a great idea:
We want people to care about the food they eat and to care about the impact that food has on the environment. If you don’t know where your food comes from, it is hard to care about its impact. The Forty Field kitchen will make it really easy for people to think about where food comes from because they will see food production in action everywhere on the Farm.
Steps to get it done:
The Forty Field Kitchen will be one of several outdoor kitchens being developed at city farms and gardens across London. We are grateful for the support of Spacehive and are very excited about being part of their outdoor kitchen initiative.
