I run affordable fitness groups for women and mums throughout the school day which being child friendly makes fitness training more accessible. It is a totally inclusive community venture.

Expanding on the idea and liasing and networking with local business which provide services which promote family and women's wellness in order to secure links which make things more accessible and affordable. Building a network and team under the FIT SW11 ethos which aims to make women and especially mums move more and feel better.

Exercise is beneficial not only physically but we know the impact it can have on our emotional well being and can promotes positive mental health. Mums are often over looked in the area of fitness and I am addressing this weekly with now over 60 women on my register. The feeling of wellbeing of becoming fitter and stronger does not only start at the beginning of each workout session and neither does it end when the session Is over. The benefits tipple into everyday life which is good for the women who attend their children and partners and even into the wider community. I want to be able to give more and provide equiptment and discounted.group visits to gyms which can be an intimidating place for women who canoften have a lack of confidence in male dominated spaces.
Steps to get it done:
FIT SW11 is growing slowly and organically and so many women can benefit from becoming a member of this exciting new women's fitness family.

VolunteerI am a 45 year old mum of two boys and while trying to raise funds for my boys primary school by running voluntarily a fitness group it became apparent by the continual growth of the groups that there was a group whose fitness needs were not being addressed.
I decided to enrol on a fitness instructors course and since set up FIT SW11.
As a voluntary venture I raised over £800 for my boys primary school by changing each person £1. Since launching FIT SW11 in October 2017 the numbers of member in FIT SW11 has risen steadily mostly through word of mouth.
We continue to grow and become also a social network of strong women and mims who want to be able to stay fit and strong.
As the children can attend FIT SW11 is inclusive. We have members of all shapes and sizes, cultures and religions and we have the same intention. To move more and feel better.
