Finkle street fun day was set up 4 years ago to celebrate the queen jubilee because it was a huge success we have carried it on for the last three years to give local bands a place to play live in front there community it is a free event that is in the heart of the Sedbergh set on Finkle street and st Andrews church where straw bales tree stumps are set out, there are local food stalls form the local butcher to the local ice cream maker last year we had over 10 local bands playing punch and Judy show craft stalls face painting and lots more

it is a day that brings old and young out the enjoy a free event day and night

it an event that in the past has been the starting level for new bands to preform in front of a crowed for the first time
