We are a registered charity number 282399 and provide
childcare and support services for children with disabilities and their
families. We are based in Harold Hill, near Romford in Essex. Each year
we support around 200 local children. We offer 2 main services, our
playgroup which has about 60 children each year, aged 2-4 years old,
some with disabilities and additional needs, and playschemes during
school holidays for around 160 children aged 5-15, all with
disabilities.
Our playroom which is used by both services has had it's
floor damaged by a leaking drain pipe. This has caused the floor to lift
and buckle making the surface uneven and a hazard. As
a charity we do not have sufficient funds to carry out the repair that is required.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Because currently the floor area which is damaged makes an area of the playroom unusable. By repairing the floor children will have more space to play safely.
