Many families haven't had the chance to experience an outdoor pool but love a simple picnic in the park, So we would like to combine the two and give them the chance to do both. With some delicious food, Refreshing drinks and great music we want to invite the local community to have a fun filled day out without all the expense. Creating memorable moments and experiences for all.

Why it's a great idea:
working in the local community since the age of 16 I've seen and experienced the financial hardship of families. Everybody loves a good day out but there is not enough affordable things to do. For working parents and non working parents the summer holidays can be a stress on any family with the cost of childcare, extra food and finding something fun for the kids to do without spending loads.

Volunteeri am Chestney Lewis is the executive officer of play@heart a non-profit organisation. Play@heart is a new innovative organisation created to provide and deliver unique and inspirational community driven services with inspiring staff.
Play@heart aims to introduce children from every social and economic background that makes up our community to the different types of play within an Adventure Play Ground setting. We want to encourage parents and carers to recognise the value of and various types of play, and give training on how to re-engage with their children through play.
