We Plan two things
1. food festivals one in July and one in September. These events are a focal point for local Chefs, hospitality business and food producers from the region. Chefs create dishes at a demo kitchen on the stage. Artizan food producers sell foods and produce. everything for anyone interested in food and it's a great way of getting together.
2. The Jazz festival is a highlight of Tunbridge Wells's cultural and entertainment scene. It give opportunity for many artists and musicians to play and brings the whole town together. A regular thursday's Jazz night from The Pantiles Bandstand at The Historic centre of Tunbridge Wells
What we'll deliver:
- 2 Weekend food festival with over 50 food and hospitality producer
- 12 Thursday nights of Jazz
- opportunities for local food producers and chefs to demo their products and talents
Why it's a great idea:
financial effects have been severe on Stallholders , food producers, chef and hospitality. These events are essential to the bounce back of the communities of Tunbridge Wells in these post covid times. Hospitality businesses have been nearly destroyed by the Covid pandemic and these events will really re energise the local business as well as local food producers. Events like food festival really are a focal point.It's a great time to re group share stories and ideas and just come together. After a year of isolation Food festival is a great way of bringing the entire food and hospitality sector together.This helps hospitality business progress, keep engaged, and helps food producers make sales and contacts
Benefits the entire local hospitality community by bringing them all together in one place for the weekend.
The Pantiles is a great community asset and provides a great space for people to re-engage with society, promoting well being , a meeting place and a start back to normality.

i have been organising the Pantiles food festival since 2012- This year we have real problems, Covid has really reduced our ability to raise sponsorship. Many local companies just don't have the money or are afraid to commit to community projects because of the covid uncertainty.
In the past we have always managed to support ourselves...this year we can't .... and having no Events or festivals down on the Pantiles will destroy a district that has worked hard to regenerate itself. We must put on fun festivals for stall holders, producers and the independent business of Tunbridge Wells
