The project will bring children together from the local community and Congleton Schools in a final dance performance to celebrate 750 years of Congleton. The opportunity to take part in a series of dance workshops will be accessible to children in and around Congleton with a series of 10 lessons available to children within the community. Every school in Congleton will also be offered the chance to receive 10 fully funded sessions either in the format of extra-curricular or lesson. These workshops will be based on the historical context of the town to link with the theme of Congleton's 750th anniversary and to educate children further. It will also lead to a final performance within Congleton at a site specific environment in Congleton. This will then be edited within a video to create a momento of the celebration of 750 years.
