Planning permission for the redevelopment is already in place with funding secured from various sources including national lottery funding, sponsorship and support from the local community. To raise further funds and awareness...WE ARE AIMING TO COLLECTIVELY WALK, RUN AND CYCLE 4600 MILES BY WEDNESDAY 1ST JULY! The 4600 miles is the distance from the club to the apartment of our much-loved slogger and part-time spinner Tim Parker, in Abu Dhabi. Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, Tim won’t be able to visit us this summer so we want to go the distance to (theoretically!) get to him. Members from across the club, in our junior, women and men’s teams, as well as our fantastic volunteers, will be out in force every morning, afternoon and evening no matter what the Great British weather throws at us! We have set an initial target of £1000 so we would massively appreciate any donation/sponsorship, no matter how big or small!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Upgrading the pavilion and facilities to make it more accessible to its members and the local community will allow the club to continue to grow and to provide community events.
