We are a newly registered community Land Trust and a Charitable Community Benefit Society seeking to develop and create affordable homes in Eastbourne.

Our first project in Hampden Park will be a new build two storey block of 8 two-bed apartments. We are keeping costs down by using volumetric factory built units.

Why it's a great idea:
Eastbourne is a beautiful town in which to live, but for those on low incomes, finding a place to call home is increasingly difficult due to low wages; the housing benefit cap; market level rents and high house prices. We want to house people and help them build a home and a life that feels safe and secure. With your help we can do this. Community Land Trusts are part of a growing movement where ordinary local people are finding innovative ways to create affordable homes for all types of people who need a place to live. One the land is bought or acquired and held in Trust then every home built on remains affordable in perpetuity for future generations to come.
