We want to replace most of our short diesel van journey's for those with an e-cargo bike, cutting emissions and replacing a pollution carbon heavy vehicle

What we'll deliver:

  • purchase an e-cargo bike van

Why it's a great idea:

The e-cargo bike will enable more of our volunteers to join in with collections and deliveries, as people will be able to ride it without a driving licence. It will be able to use cycle paths and cut throughs to avoid areas of Evesham that suffer from congestion and mean a more efficient service. We could offer local business an eco friendly, cost effective alternative for in town deliveries that would support the creation of a sustainable community programme

Steps to get it done:

  • Purchase of the e-cargo bike
  • training of volunteer drivers
  • promotion and advertising
  • first delivery

We would hope to engage with local business to support the development of a delivery service utilising young people, with possible sponsorship, regular delivery slots and possible purchase of further e- delivery vehicles.
