New Cultural Foundation and Ideas is a new community group aiming to offer ethnic cultural experiences in Doncaster. We want to bring people together for a community celebration through the sharing of cultural awareness. The cultural week will be held in July, open to everyone, with activities for all ages. This project seeks to make the community more aware of the amazing cultural diversity of Doncaster, to bring people together, and build stronger relations across all communities. The week will include: - A 3 day celebration in the town centre with African live bands and dancing - Traditional performances like masquerades, drummers and dancers - An evening gala buffet open to all offering traditional African food, dancing styles from Gambia and other cultures - A 5-a-side football competition, involving 8 teams of young boys and girls
