We hope to turn an old bus we've had donated into a unique outdoor learning venue.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Dalry Primary school is situated in central Edinburgh it has a small school population of around 300 children but has one of the highest percentages of children who don't speak English as a first language and we also have a high percentage of children on the SIMD all of these things make our little school inclusive, diverse and unique. Dalry is a special school and through this project we hope to promote that further, we were donated an old play bus that we hope to turn into an out door learning space that can be used by both small groups and whole classes, as well as other groups (like the beavers and cubs who meet at the school). We also hope to develop the story of the Dalry Dragon and have art workshops and maybe even turn the story into an actual book to raise funds for the school. All in all this project is about making our unique and special school even more so.
