The funding will go into buying online classes and books with comptia security+ framework, to help students achieve a certificate in cyber security. Which will help them get a job in the IT technician or cyber security fields.
What we'll deliver:
- Hire a library space with PCs for weekly classes.
- Purchase comptia security+ online courses and books.
- Partner with local firms for more hands on experience.
Why it's a great idea:
The benefits of the project will be people that will have comptia security+ certificates and be confident in the IT field. The course will train people from absolutely no IT knowledge to a confident level of IT and cyber security knowledge.
