We're here to support local projects that make Hammersmith & Fulham a great place to live!
The Anti-Tribalism Movement secured long lease on a property in Shepherd's Bush owned by London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The property had been empty for long time and it needs substantial investment to bring into community use. We have been given 25 years of lease with long free rent period to enable us raise the initial investment needed to bring the premises into bespoke standards. The property is around 3,000 square foot and we want to use the property for a number of activities including our charity offices, co-working space for charities, arts space, meeting and conference facilities for charities and poetry café.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The space will allow us to find better capacity to meet the increasing demand for our services, to the tune of hundreds more beneficiaries each year. Having a community hub which we manage would allow us to provide young people a focal point for their collective activities, empowerment, and growth. It will also allow us to provide a service for which we have been hearing of increased demand. There is a desperate need for young people find a safe space to work through their issues and express their talents order to share experiences and enable active citizens. The new community hub will enable charities to access a cheap local co-working space to enable them provide effective and impactful services to local communities.
