Sharing similarities and celebrating our differences. To build relationships with BAME individuals and organisations to work together to reach achievable targets led by the community. To offer opportunities to raise the profile of BAME people and the richness of heritage, culture, sport, food, music, dance through workshops and performances. There are four programme areas: Education, Social, Health and Wellbeing Events and Events – Community events to bring together over 50 heritages through family orientated events for the whole community. An annual conference for BAME people to have the opportunity to share their contribution to the communities they come from and live in. City wide International event to amalgamate venues, professionals and the International heritages and cultures within our community

Why it's a great idea:
Culture Bazaar (CB), is our annual cultural festival. Over 15 years has becomean annual 2 day festival hosting artistic performances, workshops, craft and food stalls and community displays. Past high quality contributors include Prism Arts, Punjabi Roots and Annapurna Indian Dance Company. We also fosteryoung diverse talent in Cumbria through confidence building, signposting, performance and work opportunities. Engaging more than 50 nationalities to bring families and communities together, including families from high deprivation areas.
