Lanercost cricket club would like to be able to recognise and reward the hard work and dedication of its youngest players taking part in the Allstars and Dynamos cricket initiative at the club by way of a celebration bbq and presentation event. The club would like to say thank you and well done to all the players, coaches, helpers and volunteers who have taken part in and helped out with the initiative this year because without them these types of things wouldn't take place at all. It is also a way that the club can give back to the people who put in. The celebration and bbq event is a great way of acknowledging all that the players have achieved and hopefully inspires them to continue further into cricket.

What we'll deliver:

• Provide a free bbq for club's young players and club volunteers
• Present participants with a certificate for taking part

Why it's a great idea:

By promoting a physical activity of this kind, we are encouraging young people to be more active, increase their social interaction, make new friends and generally have fun. All of which helps contribute towards improving peoples social, physical and mental well being.

Steps to get it done:

• Provide enough food and drinks for all that have taken part.
