We as a local club based in Chigwell is planning to bring back the joy & fun for kids and adults to Chigwell for local community.

Spartans Cricket Club is a local club based in Chigwell with their home ground at Metropolitan Police Grounds i.e. Chigwell Hall. With ECB starting their new kids cricket programme, Dynamos which is for kids aged 8-11 years old. Spartans CC will be running this programme at their home ground. There will be some coaching sessions by Level 3 & Level 2 ECB affiliated coaches for kids. This will be a great chance for kids to learn skills and have some fun filled sessions. This programme will make cricket accessible for even more children throughout the community.
What we'll deliver:
- ECB Dynamos cricket programme for kids 8-11 years
- Eight 60-90 minutes sessions, held over 8 weeks
- Focus on developing child skills
- Emphasis on fun & being active
- Safe and fully accredited programme
- Includes a personalised t-shirt
Why it's a great idea:
Dynamos will provide children with all of the fundamental skills they need to play. Over the 8 weeks programme, the trained activators will teach children to: -Develop skills in batting, bowling, catching & throwing -Take part in countdown cricket with a game played each week -Learn the basics of game play and scoring -Work & communicate as team

Spartans Cricket Club was formed in 2019 by a group of cricket fanatics who have passion and spirit to play this sport. Most of us
have played in different leagues in and around Essex in last 10 years and been an integral part of their respective clubs. In 2019 we all decided to come together and put our efforts and commitments to build Spartans CC and become a part of this family.
